Lots of people dream of packing up and moving abroad.

Six years ago, one British woman did just that. Geo, known as geoinspain on TikTok, has been living in Spain happily for years, and she has stunned her followers with her latest revelation.

As well as loving her new life in the sun, her energy bills are also much cheaper. In fact, when she broke her outgoings down in a recent video, people couldn't get over how much she was paying.

She pulled out some receipts to show people exactly how much things cost. With the cost of living crisis not going away in the UK, her video left many wanting to hop on a plane.

She revealed she lives with another person in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house. They have air conditioning in every room, which she admits they use a lot of during the summer months.

Geo said: "Starting off with electricity, we get a monthly bill. I'm going to show you the bills we got in July, August and September. These months we pay more, because we use a lot more electricity.

"This is what we paid in July - €61.23 (£50.79). Then in August we paid €66.06 (£54.80). Finally, in September, we paid €67.93 (£56.35).

"And then the water is billed per two months, so for two months we paid €27.79 (£23.05). So that's two months worth of water. In terms of water usage, like I said, we have three bathrooms, and we did fill up a swimming pool."

Since the video was shared, it's been viewed hundreds of times, and dozens of people commented. Many were left gobsmacked by how cheap the bills are.

One person replied: "Amazing. Spain gets hardly any water and it's cheap. UK gets rain nearly every day and it's expensive. Something is not right."

Another Brit wrote: "We've been ripped off. Much more expensive. Good luck to you. I wish I was there!"

A third added: "My electric was 55 euro last month, and water 77 euro for three months. That's a three-bed house guys. UK definitely being ripped off."

Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "I live in a two-bed, one bathroom house in London. Three adults. Electricity p/m £125 to £150. Gas p/m £100 to £125. Water p/m £150."
