Oktoberfest 2017 will officially open in Munich this Saturday September 16.
Beer lovers descend on the beer festival every year to yell Prost!, clink their steins and celebrate.
But there’s no need to travel all the way to Germany to enjoy the festive occasion.
There are plenty of places right here in the UK offering up their own Oktoberfest events, which promise all the best parts of the real thing.
Lidl has rounded up the best festivals across the country, to celebrate its new Oktoberfest drinks range.
Don your lederhosen or dirndl and prepare yourself for pretzels, schnitzel, traditional German music and far too much beer.
Oktoberfest 2017: Celebrate in the UK from London to Manchester, Edinburgh and Brighton
Oktoberfest London: Millwall Park, Canary Wharf
28th September – 1st October & 5th October – 8th October
Opening at 4pm on September 28, this epic celebration includes two rounds of partying.
Munich festivities will wrap on October 3 but London’s celebrations continue until October 8.
General admission is £10, while a beer and pretzel combination costs £20.50.
Oktoberfest Portsmouth: Grand Bier Tent, Guildhall Square
6th – 7th October
This two-day extravaganza will transform Portsmouth with the help of 30,000 litres of beer.
A 50-metre bier tent will blast ‘Oompop’ band music, aided by foot stomping, table bashing and hearty singing galore.

Oktoberfest Edinburgh: West Princes Street Gardens
11th – 15th October
The charming Princes Street Gardens will light up on October 11, brimming with Bavarian culture.
A giant tent will be decorated in traditional white and blue, with suitably giant beer to match.
Tickets cost between £5-£10 for general admission; special packages from just £10.50, which guarantees you a seat once you arrive.
Oktoberfest Brighton: The Grand Bier Tent, The Level, Union Rd
13th - 14th October
Brighton’s 2016 Oktoberfest was so successful, the beachside town is bringing it back.
The event has a new home and additional sessions to accommodate soaring demand from revellers.
Sausages, pretzels and beer will be fully stocked at the weekend festival.
Tickets start at £10.
Oktoberfest Birmingham: Eastside City Park
18th - 22nd October
Eastside City Park in the middle of Birmingham will host Oktoberfest 2017 celebrations.
Choose from five different days or party on every single one of them - there’s enough beer for everyone!
Run by the same company as Edinburgh’s festival, Birmingham Oktoberfest tickets start at £5.
