A VIRAL video of a train crashing into a FedEx truck has shocked viewers.
Terrifying moment commuter train crashes into FedEx truck
The intense footage was captured by another driver’s dash cam on Saturday 21 January.
It shows a snowy road, with two FedEx trucks driving along it in different directions.
Seemingly out of the blue, a train slams into the truck driving towards the camera, completely destroying the trailer.
In a miraculous stroke of luck, the train missed the front of the truck and the driver was largely unharmed.

He can be seen climbing out of the cabin at the end of the video, while other drivers rush over to help.
The incident took place in North Salt Lake, Utah.
The gates at the intersection, about 1100 North and 100 East, had been affected by severe ice and snow conditions that day.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, gates are supposed to drop down in the event of any signal or power issues as a safety precaution.
Somehow the gate and light warning system were not engaged, so cars were still driving across the road moments before the train crashed.
As can be seen in the video, the gates don’t drop down until after the train has passed.
Clearly something went amiss this time; the Utah Transit Authority is currently investigating the incident.
"The agency has never had an accident like this before, and UTA is investigating why and how it happened to ensure it doesn't occur again," it said in a statement.
Viral video: Signals and lights failed leading to a train hitting a truck
Some viewers of the video used this to highlight the importance of checking at a crossroads, even if there’s no warning light.
“Remember kids, always check for a train,” wrote Sean Kelly on YouTube. “Signals can break.”
Others were shocked that this could happen. Shane Fowler wrote: “Where’s the fail safes??”
The video has quickly gone viral, wracking up hundreds of thousands of views.
