AMAZING skyward waterspout caught on camera by airline passenger
Erika Morral was travelling on a commercial flight bound for Omaha, Nebraska when she spotted an incredible sight from the window.
Right beside the plane was a waterspout connecting the dark clouds in the sky with the body of water on the ground.
Ms Morral started filming as other passengers peered out at the jaw-dropping natural phenomenon.
Waterspouts are tornados that gather on water and are produced by stormy weather.

Nebraska was lashed by damaging winds and storms whipped up by swirling air currents making for a bumpy ride as this plane came into land.
This waterspout rose over Council Bluffs in Iowa and was spotted on the other side of the Missouri River.
They’re often slightly weaker than on land tornados but the column-shaped vortex still packs a punch.
The ominous weather event can occur anywhere in the world but are more common in the tropics.

Villagers watched in shock as the giant vortex circled perilously close to houses in the village of Thorpeness.
Tornadoes occur regularly in Britain but are usually small and pass unnoticed.
In June a mini-tornado was spotted hovering above allotments in Gloucestershire as severe weather ripped through the Cotswolds.
