IF YOU were wondering where to travel to next, a list of the top places in the world to make time for has been released.
National Geographic Traveler has revealed it's Best in the World
With 196 countries in the world, trying to decide where to visit next can be a daunting task.
The National Geographic Traveler magazine is making travellers' lives easy with an incredible list of the top places to visit next year.
Releasing a list annually, the magazine has revealed which countries are highlighted as one of the 20 must-see places to visit in 2016, as chosen by the Traveler editors.
Maggie Zackowitz, National Geographic Traveler editor in chief, said: "This year’s Best of the World list truly represents travel’s superlatives.

"Also we are thrilled to be the first major magazine to publish a reader photo as our cover image, especially one shot by an amateur photographer who bought his first camera just a year ago."
Places on the list include the ever-famous Côte d'Or in Burgundy, France. With it's tumbling hills covered in rows upon rows of vines, it really is a sight to behold.
Brazil made it onto the list, this year Brits are recommended to head to Rio Grande do Norte with its stretches of impressive beaches and the world's largest cashew tree.
And, if you want to risk the triangle, Bermuda has made it into the top 20. Known for its laid-back island life, head to Elbow Beach in mid May for incredible whale-watching.

Unsurprisingly, New York City features in the top 20. The city's famous skyline and impressive landmarks make it a must-see for any tourist.
