An Emirates advert boasting a new 'bombshell' lounge has wowed members of the public.

The recent TikTok showcased the new seating arrangements on the company's flights, with the first class area shown off. Wide, cream chairs and mini bars were spotted in the brief clip, which has since racked in tens of thousands of likes.

But the lavish seating area has not stunned people just for its looks but for one crucial missing piece which puzzled frequent flyers and TikTok commenters.

Some even wrote the plane's upgrade off as "disappointing" but the shock new upgrade was dubbed a "bombshell".

Using commentary from Love Island which says a new "bombshell" has entered the villa, Emirates displayed its new first class zone. But some were left a little confused by the announcement.

One wrote: "Why no doors Emirates? I mean we all know Qatar has them, but so many other airlines have joined in, Cathay, Turkish, Aeroflot, BA, Etihad, even China Eastern and Air China have them!"

Another wrote: "Well it needs more privacy." A third fumed: "Should have a closed door like other airlines."

Their fascination with the old fashioned curtain instead of a newly fitted door left other users disappointed with the choice. One wrote: "So is this also the product that will be installed on the new a350? Why are there no doors? Disappointing!"

Others have praised the seating arrangements and spoken far more positively of it. One user wrote: "Love it. Also the quality of the staff is amazing."

While the seating may have split frequent flyers, there were calls for the social media person in charge of the post to receive a "raise" for their efforts in showcasing the "bombshell" new seats.
