Butlin's Minehead, the largest of Butlins UK resorts, has thrown open the doors of its latest investment - Butlin’s SKYPARK. Open in time for the summer holidays, the SKYPARK has been described as "the UK’s most exciting playground", focussing on inclusivity and sensory features.

The new playground includes brand-new features such as the UK’s longest swing line at 42 metres, a wheelchair-friendly seesaw and two light-up intertwining slides.

"As the Home of Entertainment, nowhere else offers fun like Butlin’s, so with SKYPARK and all our other new openings we’re confident guests staying with us in Minehead will have the best holiday experience.

The playground is the latest opening which is part of the £23million investment at the Minehead resort in 2024.

Accommodation at Butlins

Following the severe flood damage back in September 2023, this investment has resulted in 400 units of accommodation being completely renovated.

Since completing the renovations, Butlins say the guest feedback from those staying in the new accommodation has been "overwhelmingly positive".

The new openings continue with the Beachcomber Inn Terrace, an extension of the restaurant which looks out across SKYPARK, allowing parents somewhere to relax with food and a drink while still being able to watch their children play.
