A study has named the UK's worst tourist traps based on Tripadvisor reviews and the worst is one of the country's most popular streets.
Ever visited a tourist trap? Some of the UK's top staycation destination have sadly become a little commercialised in recent years.
A study from holiday rental company Casago has found the UK's worst tourist traps by looking through TripAdvisor reviews to find the most mentions of 'tourist trap'.
Tourist traps aren't always bad. Sometimes an attraction is popular for a reason. But in some cases, it can feel as though the attraction has lost a little of its character.

10. Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House and Museum, Bath
Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House is suitably located in Bath's oldest house and serves up the local delicacy, bath buns. But unfortunately not everyone's left impressed by Sally's buns. One person described the buns as "overrated". However, many guests did enjoy their visit with people praising both the bun and the historic setting.
9. The Witchery by the Castle, Edinburgh
The Witchery by the Castle has been described as Scotland's most romantic hotel and it's located in historic buildings at the foot of Edinburgh Castle. Tourists can also visit the restaurant. However, one visitor described the restaurant as a "tourist trap" and a "total rip off" while another described the food as "overpriced." It wasn't the case for everyone as another person said the food was "amazing".
8. The Cavern Club, Liverpool
Famous as the birthplace of The Beatles, the Cavern Club still hosts music events as well as Beatles themed tours. Tourists generally need to pay to enter the Cavern Club. While many reviews said it was a "tourist trap", visitors were generally very positive about their experience. One tourist said:"Tourist trap but fantastic fun nonetheless."
7. Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Love it or hate it, Stonehenge is perhaps the UK's most famous attraction. The Neolithic monument is an UNESCO World Heritage site but one visitor said they were "underwhelmed" and slammed Stonehenge as a "tourist trap". However, others described it as a fantastic day out so the jury's still out on Stonehenge.
6. The Needles, Isle of Wight
The Needles are one of the Isle of Wight's top attractions. The chalk stalks sit 30m out at sea and can be admired from the coastline or from the attraction's unique chairlift. One tourist slammed the attraction as "money-grabbing" as they said everything had a fee once they entered. Another person described the area as a "tacky tourist trap". However, another tourist said they got "amazing views" from the chairlift.
