British tourists hit by Spain travel warning with 'scuffles' at major airport
Several instances of chaos have been reported from Palma airport in Spain over the last few days.
British tourists travelling to a popular holiday destination have been urged to plan their trips wisely ahead of chaos and long queues at the airport.
Several instances of chaos have been reported from Palma airport in Spain over the last few days, reported Majorca Daily Bulletin.
This action is expected to persist until March 31.
It follows Jet2's earlier alert about extended wait times due to maintenance work and Travel Weekly's report today that Tui has cautioned travelers about possible delays.
TUI said: “The security screening company, Trablisa, has begun an unannounced strike which is expected to continue until March 31.
“This may lead to longer queues and waiting times at security checkpoints.
“There is a possibility that your flight could be delayed due to security screening delays.
“We recommend that you factor in additional time for security checks when arriving at the airport.”
