Britain’s best city to celebrate St Patrick’s Day isn’t London - full list
The city with the best Guinness outside of Ireland has been crowned just in time for St Patrick's Day.
St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and this year the iconic Irish celebration falls on a Sunday. While the Emerald Isle is undoubtedly the best place to celebrate the holiday, many British cities hold their own events if you can’t make it to Ireland this year.
But where’s the best place in Britain to celebrate St Patrick’s Day?
The travel expert team at Accor have found the best city to celebrate by checking Google Reviews for the most positive reviews of a pint of Guinness.
Guinness, known as the ‘Black Stuff’, is notoriously hard to pour. According to the Guinness Storehouse, the perfect pint requires a tulip glass, a 45 degree angle pour and servers need to wait for around a minute to fill the glass.
So where are Britons most likely to enjoy the perfect pint of Guinness this St Patrick’s Day?
