Europe’s best city break is a beautiful destination in Spain
An enchanting city in southern Spain has been crowned as one of the world's best holiday destinations
Looking to book a city break in 2024? A new study has found Europe’s best holiday destinations for culture vultures.
The experts at Titan Travel looked at the number of things to do, restaurants, museums and art galleries to find the best options.
Granada in Spain came out on top with over 300 activities for tourists, 94 five-star rated restaurants and 81 landmarks.
The city edged out tough competition from top destinations such as Florence, Prague and San Francisco.
Granada is often over 30 degrees in summer so spring is the perfect time to explore the city on foot.
Granada’s top attraction is its breathtaking Alhambra Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site overlooking the city.
One of Spain’s most visited attractions, the Alhambra is one of the world’s best preserved historic Islamic palaces.
‘Angela M’ said: “If you’re visiting the Costa del Sol, a visit to the Alhambra is a must. Beautiful architecture and a peaceful place to visit.”
