World's 'most beautiful beach' with turquoise water and golden sand 3 hours from UK

Just a three-hour flight from the UK is Tunisia's stunning Yasmine Hammamet Beach, recently named the most beautiful beach in the world. Travel experts at TUI have looked at numerous beaches across the world, with this beautiful coastal spot topping the list.

The beach scored particularly high for its balance of turquoise water, bright sand tones and natural coastal scenery, and is a perfect spot for all types of holidaymakers, from families to watersport enthusiasts. Second on the list was İçmeler Bay Beach in Türkiye, and this wasn't the only Turkish beach to make the list with the country taking four of the top ten spots. While third place went to Saint Lucia's Reduit Beach.

A recent visitor to Yasmine Hammamet Beach took to TripAdvisor writing: "We travelled with Senior Discovery Tours for 16 days and loved every minute of Tunisia! Can't say enough about how beautiful this country is and especially Hammammet Beach! Beautiful sand and can walk for miles! Would highly recommend!"

While another added: "Warm clear blue water and golden sand, lovely clean and safe. Beach cafes and hot sun. I could stay here forever!"

And a third wrote: "Beautiful golden sands - camels seen walking near to water's edge.

"Very tranquil. transport available from hotel to beach for guests - Hotel staff accompanying guests - bar available on beach for cold drinks."
