THE WWE Superstar Shake-up continues tonight on SmackDown at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Braun Strowman makes intimidating entrance on Raw
WWE Superstar Shake-up PREDICTIONS
The blue brand lost AJ Styles, The Miz, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, The Usos, Naomi, Zelina Vega and Eric Young to the flagship show.
RAW also acquired NXT alumnus Ricochet, Aleister Black, The Viking Experience, EC3, Lars Sullivan and Lacey Evans.
Former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander also joined team red from 205 Live.
But who will be joining SmackDown?
1. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman has had a stunning three-year stint as a full-time RAW superstar.
Strowman destroyed some of WWE’s biggest stars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena and many more.
The Monster Among Men also had some impressive encounters with Brock Lesnar over the Universal Championship.
The ex-RAW Tag Team Champion had an intense brawl with Samoa Joe last week on SmackDown and could return on a permanent basis to start a feud with the US Champion.
2. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre joined Braun Strowman in a one-off SmackDown appearance and could follow his fellow RAW superstar to the blue brand permanently.
McIntyre has started fresh in WWE following his miserable departure in 2014 and has shone bright on the red brand.
The Scottish Psychopath won the RAW Tag Team Championships with Dolph Ziggler, feuded with The Shield, tapped WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle out and wrestled Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35.
The British bruiser seems ready for the next step and has what it takes to become the face of SmackDown.
3. Bray Wyatt
WWE have been airing some sinister vignettes of creepy dolls on TV and rumours suggest Bray Wyatt is behind them.
Wyatt hasn’t been seen on TV since he and Matt Hardy lost the RAW Tag Team Championships to The B-Team last year.
The Eater of Worlds may be set to finally return and it would make sense to put him on SmackDown.
The former Wyatt Family leader enjoyed his greatest success on the blue brand as he became WWE Champion and defended the prestigious title at WrestleMania 33 against Randy Orton.
4. Alexa Bliss
SmackDown lost an important member of its women’s division in Naomi and also missed out on Lacey Evans who is being groomed for a top spot.
But that may mean the blue brand is set for a big acquisition and Alexa Bliss would be a perfect addition.
Bliss had a stellar stint on team blue in 2016 as she became a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and replicated that success on RAW winning he RAW Women’s Championship thrice and becoming the second ever Ms Money in the Bank.
The Goddess is back in the ring after suffering a concussion and completing her role as the host of WrestleMania and will also be bringing extra entertainment with her Moment of Bliss talkshow.
5. Pete Dunne
Pete Dunne’s stunning 685-day reign as UK Champion ended at NXT TakeOver: New York when he lost to Walter.
Rumours are now suggesting that Dunne will be moving to the main roster and SmackDown would be perfect for the British bruiser to take his first steps in the big leagues.
The Bruiserweight proved he can keep up with WWE’s top grapplers as he impressed during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match as a surprise entrant and lasted for over 11 minutes.
