Becky Lynch: Real reason why Ronda Rousey WWE rival was suspended ahead of WrestleMania
BECKY LYNCH’S suspension from WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon came as part of a storyline the wrestling giants put together a long time ago.
WWE: Lynch takes exception to reporter's Rousey merchandise
According to the current WWE angle, Lynch’s 60-day suspension will end after WrestleMania 35 which takes place on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
The Man won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match last month and challenged RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.
However, McMahon has had enough of The Irish Lass Kicker’s attitude after she attacked his daughter and WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon as well as WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Triple H.
So The Chairman took her off the RAW Women’s Championship Match and replaced her with Charlotte Flair.
It was just the way the story was written before any of that stuff happened
Many seem to believe WWE pulled off that move to rattle the fans and play off the theory that Charlotte is management’s golden girl.
However, according to Wrestling News, the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims this is not the case as last Monday’s incident was part of a storyline they had written a long time ago.
Meltzer said: “The interesting thing here is that a lot of people think that Vince is doing this because he is playing off the internet feeling that Charlotte is the company person and all that to get heat with people in that way.
“But in fact, that’s not the case.
“It was just the way the story was written before any of that stuff happened.
“So it wasn’t even that they were expecting it, it just worked out in their favour.
“This has been basically laid out from a long time back.”
Lynch looks certain to be reinstated in the RAW Women’s Championship picture eventually and make it a Triple Threat Match.
Rumours suggest The Man, Rousey and Charlotte will make history by becoming the first ever women to headline WrestleMania.
The three WWE megastars have unfinished business with each other and WWE has been wanting them to fight for months now.
