John Cena is FINISHED: WWE legend makes bombshell claim ahead of Royal Rumble
BOOKER T insists WWE legend John Cena’s glory days in professional wrestling are over.
John Cena explains why he can’t wrestle and act at the same time
Cena now performs on a part-time basis with Vince McMahon’s promotion due to his advanced age of 41 and his busy Hollywood schedule.
According to Wrestling Inc, Booker noticed during his most recent match last week on RAW that The Champ has gotten slower and no longer resembles the man he once was.
The 16-time world champion stated that he is not done with WWE and insisted he still has the same ruthless aggression that skyrocketed him to superstardom in the early 2000s.
Booker T though was not convinced after seeing him perform in a No1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match against younger talent like Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Finn Balor.
Your time is up
Balor won the match and will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble this Sunday whereas Cena was left with an ankle injury that could rule him out of the 30-men over-the-top-rope battle royal.
The WWE Hall of Famer believes The Leader of the Cenation’s time is up and should make space for the younger talent to reach their full potential.
Booker T said in his Heated Conversations podcast: "Finn Balor got the biggest win of his wrestling career probably Monday Night against John Cena. That was huge.
“John Cena, you can tell this guy's getting a little slower, his hair is getting a little longer.
“Finn Balor, literally in the right place at the right time, catching John Cena.
"I'm gonna tell you right now, I don't care what John Cena says, he can say he's got the fire again.
"What now did he say he had? Ruthless aggression!
“Yeah, that's what he said.
“He can talk a good game but his rapping days is over.
“I mean, my time is now? Your time is up. It's over, man.
“These young guys like Finn Balor, coming in and stepping their game up.
“It's gonna be a whole totally different landscape of the game change out here in the near, near future.
“Finn Balor, he's got that spot. He's gonna be in there with Brock Lesnar."
