Ronda Rousey: WWE star makes HUGE admission about WrestleMania debut ahead of Royal Rumble
RONDA ROUSEY revealed she had “no clue” what she was doing on her debut match at WrestleMania 34.
Rousey shocked the world when she joined WWE last year in January from UFC at the Royal Rumble and had her first bout three months later at WrestleMania.
‘Rowdy’ teamed up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle and defeated Stephanie McMahon as well as Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet put together an incredible performance but admitted that she had to perfectly memorise every single spot as she wasn’t too confident during her wrestling bow.
Rousey said in a vlog on YouTube: "I can't believe that I had my first match ever, I had no clue what the hell I was doing.
I can't believe that I had my first match ever, I had no clue what the hell I was doing
“I had to perfectly memorise and to walk through every single moment of the match, which was WrestleMania.
“I feel like that was a whole person almost you know it's so crazy.
“I’ve been completely immersed in this culture and it was like going to a different country and learning a new language.
“It's like if you just move to Spain and you don't speak any Spanish and then eight years later you better know how to speak Spanish."
Rousey became the RAW Women’s Champion just four months after her debut match.
The UFC legend defeated Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam and remains undefeated to this day.
The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion will defend her title at the Royal Rumble against Sasha Banks on January 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rumours suggest she will hold on to the belt until WrestleMania 35 where she may face Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Rumours suggest that all three WWE superstars will make history at Mania on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
Rousey, Lynch and Charlotte may become the first ever women to wrestle on the main event at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
