WWE news: AJ Styles speaks out after vicious SmackDown attack on Vince McMahon
AJ STYLES doesn’t appear to regret punching WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon in the head after posting a cryptic tweet a week on from SmackDown.
Styles and McMahon were embroiled in a heated segment backstage when The Chairman provoked the two-time world champion to let his evil side out.
The company’s owner questioned why the TNA legend wasn’t even part of the show and urged him to show him “the animal” that lives in the “black hole in his heart”.
McMahon said: “I want to know who the real AJ Styles is.
“You’ve got a black hole in your heart and I know it.
...and I’d do it again
“There’s an animal in there, that animal is begging to get out.
“That animal is eating you alive.
“You want it to come out, I wanna see it AJ.
“And I’m gonna see it.”
...and I’d do it again. #SDLive

The WWE supremo then slapped The Phenomenal One in the face and the SmackDown superstar snapped as he returned fire with a vicious punch to the head.
The ex-WWE Champion was pulled away by referees and agents while the 73-year-old businessman lied in pain.
Styles recently took to Twitter and shared a short and enigmatic post that hints he has no regrets over the incident.
He tweeted: “...and I’d do it again. #SDLive.”
Styles looks set to get embroiled in a fiery feud with McMahon ahead of WrestleMania 35, which takes place on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
That could do wonders for the ex-US Champion’s career the same way it did for other notable rivals of The Chairman like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
