John Cena makes HUGE WWE return and receives special introduction from Vince McMahon
JOHN CENA returned to the ring for WWE Live on Boxing Day and defeated Baron Corbin at Madison Square Garden in New York.
John Cena explains why he can’t wrestle and act at the same time
Cena will compete in various RAW and SmackDown house shows throughout the holidays after taking a short break from his busy Hollywood schedule.
Corbin was initially set to battle Braun Strowman but The Monster Among Men never showed up as he is healing after a recent elbow surgery.
Strowman was counted out but the WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made his way to the ring and introduced Cena as the former acting RAW General Manager’s new opponent.
McMahon gave The Champ a special introduction as he pointed out that he has had more Madison Square Garden moments than Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin combined.

Ladies and gentlemen, Baron Corbin’s opponent: John Cena
The Chairman said: “Baron Corbin should have a match tonight.
“Against a man who has more Madison Square Garden moments than Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino, Stone Cold combined.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Baron Corbin’s opponent: John Cena.”
Cena then ran to the ring to an unfamiliar chorus of cheers bringing out the "Be Kind to One Another" towel that he was recently handed by celebrity presenter Ellen DeGeneres.

The Leader of the Cenation hugged McMahon in the middle of the ring and then locked horns with Corbin who was reeling after the announcement.
The 16-time world champion picked up the win after levelling The Lone Wolf with an Attitude Adjustment and then finished him off with his new finisher the Lightning Fist.
Cena’s next appearance will take place tonight at the Nassau Coliseum in New York where he will link up with the SmackDown roster.
The ex-WWE Champion is also scheduled to make his TV return next week on SmackDown’s New Year’s special episode.
The former World Heavyweight Champion will also perform on January 7 for an episode of Monday Night RAW.
Cena has been wrestling on a part-time basis with WWE due to his advanced age of 41 and his demanding Hollywood schedule.
The ex-US Champion has been recently promoting the new Transformers spinoff Bumblebee that sees him co-starring with Academy Award Nominee Hailee Steinfeld.
