Ronda Rousey: UFC legend set for SHOCK first WWE loss ahead of TLC - reports
WWE may be planning to end Ronda Rousey’s stunning undefeated streak in professional wrestling soon.
WWE: Ronda Rousey reflects on SummerSlam title win
Rousey has been undefeated since she joined Vince McMahon’s promotion from UFC last January.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet has been so dominant that she won the RAW Women’s Championship just eight months after her arrival.
‘Rowdy’ has also beaten some of the biggest stars on the roster, such as Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair and many more.
However, according to Ringside News, the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer expects the UFC Hall of Famer’s undefeated streak to come to an end soon because WWE are not too keen on having superstars with extremely long winning runs.
They like to make sure that nobody has unbeaten streaks or anything like that
There are no signs yet suggesting her first defeat will take place at TLC against Jax on December 16 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Meltzer said: “They like to make sure that nobody has unbeaten streaks or anything like that.
“They try to get rid of those.
“I’m trying to figure out how they’re gonna get rid of the Ronda Rousey one.
“I think they’re sitting here plotting.
“God… As long as it’s not Nia Jax.”
WWE have already ended the undefeated streaks of other bright stars such as the RAW Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain who lost to the duo of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.
Drew McIntyre is being built as the company’s next top star but suffered his first Singles loss to his former associate Dolph Ziggler on RAW.
Rumour, though, still has it that Rousey will remain unbeaten until WrestleMania 35 on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
‘Rowdy’ may headline WrestleMania with either Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch or Charlotte.
