UFC News - Conor McGregor threatened by Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz has vowed to ‘smack’ Conor McGregor when he next crosses paths with the Irishman.
“All this talk they did, they didn't back it up inside the cage and they didn't back it up outside the cage,” the UFC lightweight champion's representative said during an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.
"He's calling people a 'Muslim rat' and I denied it, of course, I denied it, but guess what? He said this on Instagram and Twitter throughout the week.
"He's one motherf***er, that if I see him, I promise you, I'm going to smack him.
“Conor McGregor is a world champion, he's the double champ, everybody's sucking his blood but it's not him.
"Now the world has changed. You see Khabib going to meet the president (Recep) Erdogan [Turkish president].
“He's going to Abu Dhabi to meet all these great sheiks, he's going to Morocco to meet the king of Morocco and you got a guy driving a truck selling liquors."

Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Cormier in major doubt
Brock Lesnar’s proposed bout with UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is reportedly in major doubt.
That’s according to MMA Fighting’s Dave Meltzer, who recently revealed that Lesnar has signed a new deal with the WWE and is scheduled to compete at Wrestlemania 35, which takes place a little over a month after UFC 235, the fight card Cormier has earmarked for his swansong.
“But with (Roman) Reigns out, Lesnar got a new offer from McMahon to replace Reigns as his top singles champion,” Meltzer wrote.
“Lesnar agreed secretly to the new deal, and won the pro wrestling championship again.
“The new deal is for multiple shows, but its length of time has been kept secretive. But it is known that Lesnar is scheduled as late as April of next year for WrestleMania.
"The deal does allow him to take a UFC fight, but whether Lesnar really will do that during this contractual term with WWE is a bigger question.
“And for Cormier, with the sands of the hourglass of his career rapidly running out, and him continuing to say he’s done in March after his 40th birthday, the Lesnar fight is far less of a sure thing than it seemed a month ago.”
Jon Jones makes admission
Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones has revealed he’s still keen on fighting Lesnar, who he called out after beating Cormier at UFC 214.
“Yeah I would like to fight Brock Lesnar still,” Jones told reporters at last week's UFC 232 pre-fight press conference. “Absolutely.
“Brock Lesnar is one of the most entertaining guys. People want to see him in the UFC against entertaining guys.
“Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to the opportunity to still compete against Brock Lesnar.”
