Milos Raonic reacts to Roger Federer claim at Wimbledon
MILOS RAONIC explained that he is not sick of answering questions about Roger Federer.
Raonic lost to Federer in the Stuttgart Open final last month and he was quizzed mostly on the Swiss star’s success rather than his own.
The Canadian insists that he does not mind talking about the world No 2 but he is disappointed to keep losing to Federer in finals.
Raonic has beaten Federer in three of their 14 meetings and won the Brisbane Open title with a superb start-sets win in 2016.
But Federer had won the same event against Raonic the previous year and he holds an impressive head-to-head record.
It's not a particular focus on Roger
And when Raonic was asked on his often glum answers about Federer which usually follow a loss and he said: “It's not a particular focus on Roger.
“I'm just sick of myself losing.”
Raonic also lost to Andy Murray in the 2016 Wimbledon final.
However, the world No 32 made a winning start at the All England Club by beating Liam Broady 7-5, 6-0, 6-1 this afternoon.
Raonic withdrew from Queen’s two weeks ago because of injury but he feels those problems have now been rectified.
“I feel body's allowing me to play and hopefully that continues for a very long time,” he added.
“I did a lot of things well. I expected to be tight the first set.
“I needed a moment just to free up once I got that break.
“He got a little bit tight on that 5-All game or 5-6, and after that I freed up and I thought I played really well.”

Raonic has also backed fellow countryman Denis Shapovalov to have a successful tournament in London.
"People said he couldn't really play on clay, and all of a sudden he makes semis of Madrid. It can change very quickly," he said.
"You know, you sort of do a few things, confidence gets behind you, you start to play well.
"You figure what works for you and all of a sudden year after year you have just something to look back on, hey, these are the tools that were important for me.
"And you just have this sort of set of commands you tell yourself that are important and that you utilise."
