RAFAEL NADAL may be close to returning to the tennis court.
Toni Nadal admits his nephew could be back next month
The Spaniard is out of action at present after suffering a hip injury at the Australian Open in January.
Nadal then missed the Mexican Open in Acapulco last month after pulling out just hours before his first scheduled tie.
Spain take on Germany in the Davis Cup in early April.
And according to his uncle Toni, Nadal is aiming to return at the event in a couple of weeks.
“I spoke with him and his goal is to play it," he told Tennis365.

“Obviously, we, or rather he, will see how he is.
"If he’s recovered, then surely he’ll play.”
Nadal's glittering career has been hampered by continuous injuries in recent years.
And Toni admitted earlier this week that his nephew has spent the last decade battling the problem.
"Since 2005 my nephew continuously lives with pain and then subsequent soothing with painkillers," he said.
But the world No 2 is close to returning.
