Roger Federer posts touching message after breaking second world record at Rotterdam Open
ROGER FEDERER has reacted to breaking yet another world record at the Rotterdam Open.
Roger Federer won the Rotterdam Open yesterday.
Federer, 36, became the oldest men’s player of all time to reach the top of the ATP World Rankings last week.
The Swiss star only needed to close the 155 point gap to Rafael Nadal in Holland to secure the honour.
But he went the distance and won the competition by beating Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets yesterday.
During the routine victory, the 20-time Grand Slam champion also broke the all-time attendance record for a tennis match.

Over 120,000 spectators attended the showdown and were treated to a clinal display by Federer.
And the newly crowned world No 1 reacted by taking to Twitter to hail his loyal fans.
"Thank you Rotterdam!” he wrote.
Federer took to Twitter to send a message to his fans.

Federer is now expected to rest before returning to the court after winning the Australian Open and Rotterdam Open in successive months.
