KATIE SWAN will become the youngest British player in Fed Cup history after Australian Open semi-finalist Johanna Konta withdrew from this week's pool matches in Israel.
Katie Swan will become the youngest ever Brit to compete in the Fed Cup
America-based Swan will play in the the Euro/Africa Zone Group 1 tie against South Africa tomorrow at the age of 16 years and 316 days, beating the record of Anne Keothavong by 270 days.
Swan will feature alongside British No 2 Heather Watson and the doubles duo of Jocelyn Rae and Anna Smith in Israel.
