No rest for new Wimbledon champion Andy Murray as he packs in busy media schedule
ANDY MURRAY may have been hoping for a bit of relaxation today, but being a Wimbledon champion doesn't afford him that.
After his gruelling three-hour straight sets win over the World No.1 Novak Djokovic, Murray kicked off his morning with seven different interviews for the BBC in the space of an hour.
The Scot's morning started at 8am with an appearance on the BBC's Breakfast Show before he went on the Radio 4 Today programme.
Everyone wanted his gauge his thoughts after he wrote himself into the history books by becoming the first male Brit in 77 years to lift arguably the most prestigious trophy in tennis.
Murray finished off a hectic morning with another round of BBC interviews.
Murray's Wimbledon final opponent, Novak Djokovic, will be attending a gala dinner tonight to raise money for his charity, the Novak Djokovic foundation.
