Nick Kyrgios makes fresh Jannik Sinner dig and tells Novak Djokovic he's not 'priority'
Nick Kyrgios made his feelings clear as he answered fan questions.
As Nick Kyrgios continues his injury layoff, he has been keeping busy on social media.
The former Wimbledon finalist answered fan questions on Instagram and used the opportunity to make a fresh dig at Jannik Sinner over the Italian’s doping saga.
He was also asked about teaming up with good friend Novak Djokovic and admitted the 24-time Grand Slam champion wasn’t his “priority”.

Kyrgios has been very vocal about Sinner’s doping scandal. In August, the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced that the world No. 1 was ruled to have “bore no fault or negligence” for two anti-doping violations in March.
Sinner had promptly appealed two provisional suspensions, meaning he was allowed to keep playing, and the two positive tests were not made public until the independent tribunal concluded in August. WADA has since appealed the ruling to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Kyrgios has continuously called the 23-year-old out since the news broke two months ago, even asking for Sinner to face a two-year ban. And he made another jibe during Monday’s Instagram Q&A.
“Doubles with Sinner? Pls,” someone asked the Australian. Kyrgios replied with a video of himself in a car and appeared to be saying something inaudible.

“I only play with CLEAN players,” he also wrote, adding a sleeping emoji.
It wasn’t the only doubles request the 29-year-old received. Another fan asked: “Next year doubles with Novak?” While Kyrgios was open to it, he made it clear that another player was at the top of his list.
“Kokk will get first priority but I’m down,” he said, sharing a photo of himself playing doubles with Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis have been friends since childhood. They won the Australian Open men’s doubles title in 2022 as wildcards, becoming the first all-Aussie duo to achieve the feat in 25 years.

Laughing, the former world No. 13 replied: “I actually don’t know. I don’t even know where my Wimbledon [runner-up] trophy is.”
Kyrgios will be hoping to make more special Australian Open memories in 2025, as he is targeting the Aussie summer in January for his comeback. He has missed the last two editions of the tournament.
The seven-time title winner has only played one professional singles match in the last two years as he battled knee and wrist injuries, eventually having surgery to fix both issues.
