Wimbledon news: Express Sport brings you all the latest news from SW19.
Highlights from day eight at Wimbledon
It's day nine at Wimbledon with another set of men's and women's semi-finals to come today. On Tuesday reigning champion Novak Djokovic overcame an early scare to defeat Andrey Rublev in four sets, cruising into yet another semi. The perennial Grand Slam champion boasted about adding yet another major title to his name, telling rivals that a surprise defeat 'ain't happening'.
The man who can make that claim come back to haunt Djokovic is Jannik Sinner, who is into his first Wimbledon men's singles semi-final after beating Roman Safiullin on Tuesday. Djokovic and Sinner will meet on Friday, and few can blame the Serb for having such huge confidence as he seeks to play in a ninth final at the All England Club.
Wednesday's order of play sees more quarter-finals across the men's and ladies' singles tournaments. Today, Daniil Medvedev will go toe-to-toe with Chris Eubanks while world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz is also in action on Centre Court against Holger Rune.
Madison Keys will also be buoyed by her come-from-behind victory over Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva on Monday as the American faces Aryna Sabalenka. Ons Jabeur and Elena Rybakina will also clash for a place in the semi-finals.

Alcaraz confirms Djokovic spygate
Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed that his father has been recording Novak Djokovic's training sessions at Wimbledon after the Serb hit out at the lack of privacy.
"Probably it is true," Alcaraz said. "My father is a huge fan of tennis and he doesn't only watch my matches.
"I think he gets into the club at 10am and leaves at 11pm watching matches and practice and being able to watch Djokovic in real life it is probably true he was filming the sessions."
And Alcaraz appeared to hit back at any suggestion his father's filming would give him an edge further down the line. "I don't think so," he said when asked whether it gave him a 'competitive advantage'.
"I have a lot of videos from Djokovic on every platform. I think it's not an advantage for me."
Djokovic tipped to win 30 slams
Tennis pundit Mats Wilander has claimed that Novak Djokovic could go on to win as many as 30 Grand Slams.
The Serb has gotten better with age and at 36 years old is still the favourite to win Wimbledon, which would be his fifth SW19 title in a row.
Having won a record 23 men's Majors already, Wilander has tipped him to reach 30. “I don’t know why he shouldn’t be able to win 28, 29, 30 Grand Slams, Wilander told Eurosport.
"He is the favourite for Wimbledon which makes him the favourite for the US Open, he’s the favourite for the Australian Open because he’s won it 10 times, he’s the defending champion at next year’s French Open.
“I don’t see a sign that tells me that he is slowing down, I see a lot of signs telling me that he is getting better.”
Becker responds to Agassi claim
Boris Becker is back on Sky Sports Germany for their coverage of Wimbledon and has responded to a claim made by Andre Agassi.
The American wrote in his book that he could tell where Becker was going to serve in their matches based off the tip of his tongue, as it stuck out during Becker's service.
Becker took to his Instagram story to respond to the story. "That's one of the best Hollywood stories I ever heard," he wrote. I read AA's [Agassi's] book and smiled! Love him."
Queen Camilla's Wimbledon advice
Queen Camilla was in attendance today at Wimbledon as she watched Ons Jabeur and Carlos Alcaraz defeat Elena Rybakina and Holger Rune on Centre Court.
Upon her arrival, she was greeted by All England Club chairman Ian Hewitt before being introduced to the ball boys and girls, alongside one of the tournament's search dogs.
She joked that she had been a ball girl "100 years ago" and asked the ball girls if they were enjoying the tournament.
Then she gave them some very sage advice by saying: "You have to be very agile... It's quite difficult to get it right."
Alcaraz sets up Medvedev tie
Carlos Alcaraz has overcome Holger Rune to set up a mouthwatering semi-final clash with Daniil Medvedev.
The Spaniard claimed a 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory as he reaches his second semi-final of the year after reaching the final four of the French Open.
Alcaraz could meet Novak Djokovic in the final as the 20-year-old continues to show that he could be the man to take over from the big three in Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal.
Eubanks journey over
Christopher Eubanks went out swinging at Wimbledon, as the American sensation lost an epic five-set thriller to Daniil Medvedev.
He has captured the hearts of the SW19 faithful having previously considered retirement prior to this stunning run, as Eubanks has shown he belongs at the top level.
However, Medvedev is the one who prevailed and will now prepare for a semi-final against either Carlos Alcaraz or Holger Rune.

Nadal snubbed by uncle
Rafa Nadal has been absent at Wimbledon this year due to injury, but that has not stopped his uncle Toni from giving his views.
However, it is in fact Roger Federer that Toni Nadal has been praising as opposed to his nephew - as the Swiss star is said to have transcended the sport more than any other player.
Toni also gave an update on Rafa's recovery, as fans will be hoping to see him back in action sooner rather than later.

Steward booed
One steward at Wimbledon was booed by the crowd during Christopher Eubanks' quarter-final against Daniil Medvedev.
Fans were enjoying themselves as Eubanks has become a popular figure at SW19, but the crowd were forced by an official to throw the ball back as the steward was met with a hugely negative reaction.
The steward saw the light side of the situation, however, and was spotted laughing and smiling after being booed.

Raducanu decisions questioned
Emma Raducanu has had her post-US Open victory decisions questioned by Martina Hingis.
The 20-year-old is sitting out of this year's Wimbledon due to injury, but Hingis believes that her return at the end of the year will not come easy.
"If you have the right surroundings, I think that's also really important," Hingis told PA Sport.
"I never met her so I don't know exactly what goes through the head. It's incredible she was able to win the US Open and, all of the changes after that, I don't think it was a great choice to do.
"When you win with someone, you usually continue, but I can't judge what happened. It would be nice for her to find the way and to find her success again.
"She's got the shots, she's the whole package, but you still need the results. It's not like one day you win the US Open and then that's the rest of the life.
"There's so many girls out there that can play well who are hungry. I hope the best for her but it won't be easy."
Jabeur gets revenge
In a repeat of last year's final, Ons Jabeur has gotten her revenge over Elena Rybakina to advance to the semi-finals.
The Tunisian fought hard against Rybakina's serve, in order to claim a 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-1.
The final four represents Jabeur's best Grand Slam performance of the season after quarter-final exits in Australia and France, but will hope to go one step further than last year and lift the trophy on Saturday.
Crowd enjoying umpire's voice
The Wimbledon crowd were taken aback by the umpire's voice during Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur's quarter-final clash.
In the rematch of last year's final, umpire Kader Nouni left supporters in stitches as he spoke out during the match.
He has been compared to iconic announcer Barry White for his signature voice, which had the crowd laughing along as Jabeur and Rybankina played for a place in the semi-finals.

The action is underway over on Centre Court where Ons Jabeur faces Elena Rybakina in the ladies' singles quarter-final.

Murray defeat 'expected'
Express Sport readers were correct to guess that Andy Murray would exit Wimbledon in the second round.
The two-time champion was defeated by Stefanos Tsitsipas last week.
And a majority of our readers had predicted the result before the start of the Championships.
Duo receive 'adult site offer'
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have received a bizarre offer from an adult site.
Tennis' latest power couple have been made an offer by My.Club after being knocked out of the Championships.
Awkward Rublev press conference
Andrey Rublev wondered if he deserved a positive Centre Court crowd reaction during his quarter-final defeat by Novak Djokovic.
Rublev was playing at Wimbledon following last year's ban on Russian and Belarusian stars due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
However, he was well supported by the crowd.
“I don’t know, I feel sometimes I don’t deserve it or something like that,” Rublev said. “I don’t know what you need to do to have this support. I’m really grateful for this.”
Becker's return
Boris Becker will provide Wimbledon punditry as a guest for Sky Sports Italy, the broadcaster has announced.
Becker was previously a mainstay on the BBC for several years, providing analysis for the broadcaster.
However, he was jailed in April 2022 and then deported from the UK after being found guilty of hiding £2.5m in assets and loans to avoid paying his debts.
Becker will return to screens in Italy, though, providing comment for Sky Italia today and on Sunday.

Ons Jabeur vs Elena Rybakina
Carlos Alcaraz vs Holger Rune

Daniil Medvedev vs Chris Eubanks
SW19 staff in ‘appalling behaviour’
Centre Court staff were criticised for allowing spectators into the arena after the first game during Novak Djokovic’s quarter-final clash with Andrey Rublev.
The umpire intervened to tell staff to stop allowing people to enter Centre Court.
Speaking on commentary, John McEnroe said: “Unheard of here at Wimbledon, letting people in after the first game.”
Andrew Castle quipped: “Appalling behaviour. 6.30am meeting tomorrow is going to be…”
Djokovic’s cocky comment
Novak Djokovic has risked the wrath of the Wimbledon crowd after delighting in telling them that a shock defeat ‘ain’t happening’.
The 36-year-old is the favourite to retain the men’s singles crown again this year and after beating Andrey Rublev he continued to boast about his chances of going all the way.
After going a set down against Rublev, Djokovic cruised to a four-set victory.
He said afterwards: "I love it. Any tennis player wants to be in that position. It's a privilege. Pressure is part of what we do regardless of how many Grand Slams you've won.
"It awakens the most beautiful emotions in me and it motivates me beyond what I've ever dreamed of. It inspires me to play my best tennis. I know they want to get a scalp but... it ain't happening."
Djokovic through to semis
Novak Djokovic will face Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon semi-final after overcoming a setback to beat Andrey Rublev.
The Russian surprisingly took the first set against Djokovic, winning 6-4.
However, the 23-times Grand Slam champion battled back and cruised through the next three sets, ultimately triumphing with a 4-6 6-1 6-4 6-3 victory.
Djokovic boasted afterwards about being the favourite for the tournament - and surely not many can blame him.
