Italian Open action continues this weekend with both Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in action. Express Sport is on hand with all the live stream information, including how to watch the tennis for free.
Italian Open: Rafael Nadal defeats Pablo Carreno Busta
Rafael Nadal will continue his bid for a 10th Italian Open title when he meets Diego Schwartzman in the quarter-finals. Nadal has been in excellent form, conceding just six games in his first two matches despite not having played competitively in over six months.
The Spaniard first dispatched US Open semi-finalist Pablo Carreno Busta before a 6-1, 6-3 result against Dusan Lajovic on Friday.
The world No 2 holds a perfect 9-0 head-to-head record against Argentina's Schwartzman – including 22 of 24 sets.
"I need to keep working on a couple of things that are not coming automatically, but I can't ask for more," Nadal said following the win over Lajovic.
"[It was] another great evening for me against another good opponent. Can't complain at all. Much better [than] what I expected."
DON'T MISS: Novak Djokovic already thinking ahead to Rafa Nadal French Open battle
Before Nadal returns to the court, Novak Djokovic will back in action when he takes on Dominik Koepfer for a place in the semi-finals.
Djokovic came through an all-Serbian third-round clash, defeating Filip Krajinovic 7-6(7), 6-3.
"Never easy, I think, emotionally to play against someone that is one of my best friends for many years," the world No 1 said.
"I knew he's in great form and, obviously, my second match on clay, I still haven't started this match the way I really wanted to. I made a lot of unforced errors, but also credit to him for being aggressive and pushing me to the limit."
