Nick Kyrgios appears to end Stefanos Tsitsipas feud with heart-warming Instagram post
NICK KYRGIOS and Stefanos Tsitsipas clashed on social media last year with the Australian mocking his rival, but it seems their doubles pairing at the Citi Open has helped bury the hatchet.

Kyrgios has proven to be one of the most controversial players on the ATP Tour with his style of play, outbursts on the court and his activity on social media.
He clashed with Rafael Nadal earlier this year, as the 18-time Grand Slam champion criticised the 24-year-old for showing a lack of respect during their match.
There also appeared to be some tension between Kyrgios and Tsitsipas last year when the former mocked a tweet from his rival, replying with: “Da fuq.”
Tsitsipas responded later on by mocking Kyrgios for sitting in his “room playing video games”.
The two players are certainly polar opposites off the court, but it appears their intriguing doubles pairing at the Citi Open has helped the two build a strong respect for one another.
Kyrgios isn’t usually associated with making sincere statements, but he took to Instagram after their defeat to No 1 seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah to send a heartfelt message to his playing partner.
“@stefanostsitsipas98 x We may go about things differently...but, tonight was a special moment and honestly it was awesome to share the court with you,” he said on Instagram.
“It’s been cool to see you bloom into the player you are, and you are only at the beginning.
“You are gonna be able to help and influence a lot of people.
“See you in Cincinnati.”
Tsitsipas similarly was full of admiration for his doubles partner in Washington.
“I got inspired today, honestly, I won’t lie,” he said.
“His serve was brutal. I wish I could serve like that.
“It’s unbelievable to see that in a human being. Very very fun.
“I got to know you a bit more. My opinion about you is still [pause] good…I really enjoyed the company and moments we shared.”
