Andy Murray could have Queen's quarter-final tie cancelled if one thing happens
ANDY MURRAY is not 100 per cent guaranteed to play his quarter-final clash at Queen's Club this evening.
Queen's Club: Andy Murray and Feliciano Lopez win round 16
There is a possibility Murray and team-mate Feliciano Lopez could be awarded a walkover into the semi-finals.
The pair knocked out top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in a stunning match on Centre Court last night.
Excitement is already building in west London for the former world No 1's second match since undergoing hip resurfacing surgery.
But there is a slim chance Murray will have to come back this weekend to continue his Fever-Tree Championships campaign.
The power all lies in the hands of young Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Because of the fixture chaos caused by rain earlier this week, the 18-year-old was forced to play two singles matches yesterday - including a thrilling three-set win over Nick Kyrgios.
But his schedule could get even crazier today as he is pencilled in for three matches if results go his way.
Auger-Aliassime takes on top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in his opening match on Centre Court.
He must then decide whether he wants to play his first-round doubles match with Alex De Minaur against Dan Evans and Ken Skupski - with the winner set to face Murray and Lopez later in the day.
If Auger-Aliassime withdraws then a lucky loser will replace him and Murray and Lopez will face the winner of that match.
However, Auger-Aliassime and De Minaur could choose to give it a go in the doubles, being the hungry NextGen stars that they are.
A victory would then set up a quarter-final showdown with Murray and Lopez.
Queen's: Andy Murray displays skills in doubles training
But if Auger-Aliassime was to then pull out of the tournament through fatigue, having to play four matches in just over 24 hours, then Murray and Lopez will get a walkover.
For now, Murray and Lopez are still on track to play the final match on Centre Court this evening.
And the main likelihood is Auger-Aliassime could pull out of the doubles if he beats Tsitsipas.
That would mean a lucky loser steps in and supporters at Queen's will get to see their hero continue his remarkable comeback.
