Ashleigh Barty vs Marketa Vondrousova TV channel: How to watch French Open final on TV
ASHLEIGH BARTY faces Marketa Vondrousova in the French Open final today but which TV channels will be showing the match? Express Sport has all the details.
French Open: Ashleigh Barty reaches Roland Garros final
Both are looking for their maiden singles Grand Slam title though Barty was a doubles winner at the US Open last year.
Vondrousova is just 19 and had never made it past the second round at Roland Garros before this year.
The Czech has not dropped a set in the tournament and is the first teenage finalist at Roland Garros since Serbia's Ana Ivanovic in 2007.
Barty’s previous best performance at a Grand Slam came at the Australian Open earlier this year where she made the quarter-finals.
She will be the first Australian in the French Open singles final since Samantha Stosur in 2010.
Barty will move to world No 3 in the rankings following her run and she’s taking inspiration from Stosur.
"Obviously we have seen Sam do so well here numerous times and on many occasions have been at the business end of the tournament," Barty said.
"It's an amazing opportunity for myself and my team. We have worked so hard to put ourselves in these positions.
“Now, we get to go out there and really enjoy it.
"That's the only way to approach it is to go out and enjoy it, have fun, try and play with freedom.
“That's ultimately when I play my best tennis and that's what we are after."
