NOVAK DJOKOVIC wanted his French Open tie with Dominic Thiem cancelled because he struggled to see.

Wind caused huge problems to players at Roland Garros during semi-final day.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal both spoke of the difficult conditions they faced in the early match on court Philippe-Chatrier.
Not only was the ball moving all over the place, the red dirt was also blown into the air, reducing visibility.
At one point it looked like a sandstorm had swept across Paris towards the end of Federer vs Nadal - which the latter won in straight sets.
And Djokovic was unnerved from the off.
After losing his serve for a second time at 5-2, the Serbian asked the umpire “are there no rules about this?”
He did not feel he could continue with the dust being blown into his eyes.
The world No 1 also spoke extensively with the official after Thiem took the first set 6-2.
Federer complained about the wind after he lost to Nadal.
“It was just crazy, the thing,” Federer said.
"There I'll have to clear my eyes to see what I'm eating tonight.
“You get to the point where you’re just happy to make shots. It’s that bad.

“You just don’t want to look ridiculous.”
Nadal echoed his rival’s comments.
“It was difficult to play in the wind,” he added.
“It is always a tough match against Roger and we had tough conditions today.”
