Djokovic begins his Indian Wells campaign against Bjorn Fratangelo, with the Serb in red-hot form.
Djokovic won the Australian Open earlier this year for his third Grand Slam success in a row.
He has faced Fratangelo just once before, again at Indian Wells, having to come from a set down to beat the American three years ago.
Novak Djokovic will be on in the evening session in California, with his match preceded by Venus Williams.
She will take on No 3 seed Petra Kvitova having already beaten Andrea Petkovic already this tournament.
World No 1 Naomi Osaka will follow Djokovic’s match with the Japanese star taking on Kristina Mladenovic.
Zverev is over on Stadium 3 today as he goes up against Martin Klizan.
The German is making his fourth main draw appearance at Indian Wells and has never progressed past the fourth round.
