Roger Federer celebrates his 100th ATP title win
Roger Federer beat Stefan Tsitsipas 6-4 6-4 to win the Dubai Tennis Championship title.
The Swiss star becomes only the second man to win 100 career singles titles on the ATP tour - after Jimmy Connors.
The tennis world has congratulated Federer for the achievement.
And his instagram account has been going into overdrive off the back of his latest win!
Roger Federer has replied to numerous instagram stories that have congratulated his achievement.
Lyndsey Vonn, Cori Gauff and the ATP tour themselves were regrammed by the Swiss star.
He was also snapped with the Dubai singles trophy.
After his win over Tsitsipas, Federer said: “I think I served very well. Had a high first-serve percentage in play, from the feeling anyway.
“Yeah, I just think I played the right way. Things happened fast. Best-of-three set tennis on a fast court against somebody like Stefanos who also likes to take the ball early.
“I tried to be very aggressive myself and it worked out.
“I got off on a flyer in the beginning, never looked back.
“In the second set, I think I was overall maybe able to create a few more chances.”
Next up for Federer is Indian Wells, where he will seek to win the hard-court tournament against usual rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Federer has previously hinted that he will tackle the French Open this year for the first time since 2015.
Were he to confirm his place at Roland Garros then the Swiss gem may take up a few clay-court tournaments before the Grand Slam in preparation.
