Glasgow Warriors vs Edinburgh Rugby: Hosts win after stadium evacuation
GLASGOW WARRIORS beat Edinburgh Rugby 17-0 after the match was briefly evacuated.
Glasgow Warriors vs Edinburgh Rugby was suspended
A fire alarm at half time forced both sides to exit the stadium, while fans were told to leave the stands.
The 15-minute delay was eventually corrected and play resumed.
Glasgow were 3-0 up at the time of the alarm and continued their strong start to the season once play was reconvened.
A try for Lee Jones at the death wrapped up a convincing win for the Warriors.
But there was a concern the match could have been called off amid confusion at the alarm.
“Safety of our supporters is paramount,” Glasgow tweeted.
“Apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience."

We're back! A false alarm here at Scotstoun. We're now in half-time with the second half due to start shortly. One of the stranger #1872Cup moments, but well handled by our hosts @GlasgowWarriors.
