Argentina set to appeal the nine-week ban imposed on Mariano Galarza
ARGENTINA are to appeal the nine-week ban imposed on Gloucester second row Mariano Galarza for eye gouging.
Argentina will appeal the nine-week ban imposed on Mariano Galarza
The Pumas insist the 28-year-old second row, who is a trainee doctor, is innocent of the charge for which he was cited after clashing with New Zealand's Brodie Retallick at Wembley on Sunday.
Galarza is ruled out of today's meeting with Georgia at Kingsholm - a repeat of the 2011 World Cup clash won 25-7 by Argentina.
Scrum lovers will be in for a treat, particularly the head to head between Georgia's Davit Zirakashvili and Argentina's Marcos Ayerza of Leicester.
