South Africa v Australia: McCabe hails Cooper class
AUSTRALIA playmaker Quade Cooper is unpredictable – and that makes him a world-class player, according to his Wallabies team-mate Pat McCabe.
Fly-half Cooper will be pivotal to Australia’s hopes of knocking out holders South Africa in their World Cup quarter-final clash today.
And centre McCabe admitted: “I guess, like everyone, I am still in awe of some of the things he does. “I think his unpredictable nature is one of his best strengths.” McCabe returns after injury, along with team-mates David Pocock and Digby Ioane, as Australia attempt to deny the Springboks.
