Hooker George missed Saturday’s defeat to Ireland but has joined up with the squad at their Bagshot base to fight for a spot this weekend.
The Saracens man had a savage January as he was replaced as England skipper by club mate Maro Itoje then got injured in a Champions Cup clash against Castres.
George, 34, who has 97 England caps joins Luke Cowan-Dickie, Theo Dan and Curtis Langdon as hookers in a 35-man party.
Sale scrum-half Raffi Quirke and Gloucester lock Arthur Clarke, who were in the Girona camp last week, are both sidelined with injuries.
