Snooker: Judd Trump crashes out at the Ally Pally
JUDD TRUMP saw his disastrous season take another turn for the worse at the Dafabet Masters last night.
He lost 6-5 to Hong Kong’s Marco Fu at Alexandra Palace to ruin hopes of getting his woeful campaign back on track.
Two century breaks and a run of 87 hinted at a return to form – but a missed black in the decider put paid to Trump’s chances.
He said: “I fell awkwardly on the black in the decider, it was tricky and maybe I shouldn’t have taken it on, I am very disappointed.
“It is frustrating because this and the UK last month are big tournaments, now there is only the worlds left of the really big ones and I have gone out early in the first two.”
