David Haye desperate to make amends
DAVID HAYE is ready to shelve his planned October retirement date for the chance of heavyweight world title revenge against Wladimir Klitschko.
David Haye should find out on Monday if that could happen as Klitschko and his WBC heavyweight champion boxer brother Vitali arrive in London on a media visit.
Haye has maintained he would hang up his gloves before his 31st birthday – but he is desperate to make amends for the defeat last weekend.
“The only person I would break my retirement for is the guy who has beaten me, Wladimir Klitschko,” he said.

“I definitely want to stick to my retirement plans, but when someone beats you, it’s a real gutting feeling.
“He beat me fair and square. He came out there and out-jabbed me and I couldn’t get close enough to him to keep landing my shots.
“Deep down, I know I can do better than I gave on that night.”
