NBA news is coming in thick and fast and Express Sport is on hand to bring you all the very latest.
Lakers: Kyrie Irving will be joining LeBron James claims pundit
LeBron James
LeBron James reportedly wants Luke Walton axed as head coach of Los Angeles Lakers.
That is according to ESPN duo Jackie MacMullan and Brian Windhorst, who claim the small forward is unhappy with his new boss.
The Lakers are struggling for results in the absence of James, who has been ruled out with a groin injury since Christmas Day.
And now there is talk going on behind the scenes that James would like a coaching change.
“It’s clear to me – and probably to you, Brian – that LeBron’s camp would prefer a coaching change,” MacMullan said.
“They’re not too subtle about that. So, I don’t think that’s fair. I don’t. I don’t think it’s fair.
“There’s plenty of [people around James]. And they’ve made it known.
“I don’t think this a shock, is it? For me to say this? I don’t think so.”

Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving’s camp have reportedly confirmed the 26-year-old is interested in joining LeBron James at Los Angeles Lakers.
NBA expert Ric Bucher claims to have spoken to somebody who “knows what Kyrie is thinking” and put substance to recent rumours.
“So I called somebody that no doubt knows what Kyrie is thinking. I just asked how much should I put into LeBron’s IG messages and Kyrie would be open to joining LeBron,” Bucher said on the Bucher and Friends Podcast.
“And my guy didn’t hesitate. He said ‘Oh no, it’s for real’.”
Anthony Davis
Boston Celtics have reportedly sent a secret trade message to New Orleans Pelicans which spells bad news for Los Angeles Lakers.
And the Pelicans are now going to hold out until the summer to trade Davis so they can get a better return for their star man, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
“Boston is going to be there and they have sent the message to the Pelicans ‘Be patient, wait for us. We are going to be in this and we are ready to talk about everyone on our roster outside Kyrie Irving’,” Wojnarowski said.
“I think right now it is putting New Orleans in a holding pattern and it has dampened the possibility of the Lakers doing what they want to do.”
