NBA star Patrick Beverley's wife 'gonna kill him' after 'no sex before matches' vow
NBA star Patrick Beverley addressed news that Scottie and ex-wife Larsa Pippen had sex four times a day during his iconic Chicago Bulls career - and revealed his own trick.
Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley has taken a page out of Rocky Balboa’s book by not having sex the night before NBA games in order to keep his legs fresh. As a result, the journeyman revealed his wife is frustrated.
Last month, Beverley opted to sign with the Bulls - his hometown team - instead of the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors. Since he arrived in Chicago, the Bulls have gone 8-5 to keep their postseason hopes alive as they sit in the final NBA Play-In spot.
On his podcast, Beverley’s co-host brought up how Larsa Pippen claimed she and Bulls icon Scottie used to have sex four times a night during their 23-year marriage. The 34-year-old certainly takes a different approach to the six-time NBA champion as Chicago hope for a late run to reach the playoffs.
“I don't have sex the night before games,” Beverley said on Barstool Sports’ ‘Pat Bev’ podcast. “I wanna have fresh [legs], you know what I’m saying?

“Wifey gonna kill me, though. It be hard, though, because you got games every other day and s***. Shoutout to wifey, man.”
Beverley was referring to his relationship with Iranian-born fashion and beauty entrepreneur, influencer, philanthropist, and interior designer, Mandana Bolourchi. She is believed to have an estimated net worth of $5million and Beverley showered her with praise.
“I don't think people know our history though,” he added. “I call her Princess of Dubai.
“She has three Rolls Royces. I'm lucky. I like to feel like I'm one of the chosen ones. I attract good energy also.”

Beverley’s no sex strategy appears to be working as the Bulls enjoy a fine run of form since he joined the franchise. He started the 2022/23 season on the Los Angeles Lakers but was dealt to the Orlando Magic before the NBA Trade Deadline.
He signed with Chicago after agreeing to a buyout with the Magic. He has impressed too, putting in a fine defensive performance against James Harden - who scored just five points - in the 109-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
“I’m excited about his year, man,” Beverley said. “I’m feeling good. I'm feeling healthy. I'm having so much fun… I'm so f****** happy.”
The 34-38 Bulls currently sit 10th of the Eastern Conference and hold a one-and-a-half game-lead on the Indiana Pacers, who occupy the 11th seed. The Bulls face the 32-40 Portland Trail Blazers in their next contest on Friday night.
