Ruby Walsh has broken his leg on Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival 2018
On Ladies Day at Cheltenham, Ruby Walsh fell off Al Boum Photo at the second last of the RSA Chase.
The jockey has only just returned from a broken leg which he suffered at Punchestown last November.
But it appears he has suffered yet more heartache.
Chapman heard from Rich Ricci, who claims Walsh has had another break.
Rich Ricci has just texted me. He has said that in his opinion or at least as far as he is aware, Ruby Walsh has broken his leg
Chapman said: “Rich Ricci has just texted me.
"He has said that in his opinion or at least as far as he is aware, Ruby Walsh has broken his leg.
"That means Patrick Mullins will ride Douvan and Paul Townsend on Min.
"That is the latest from Rich Ricci who has just called me to give us that news.”
