Royal Ascot is underway at the historic Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire for three more days of one of the world’s greatest flat races.
Some 300,000 spectators are expected to be pulled in by the grand spectacle this year alone.
Thousands more punters are expected to stake their vets on the Gold Cup race today from the comfort of their sofas.

Is the Royal Ascot on TV?
Royal Ascot will air exclusively on ITV this year, after the broadcaster secured the rights to the horse racing event last year.
Ed Chamberlin and co-presenter Francesca Cumani will host the exclusive broadcast each day between 1.30pm and 6pm.
The two hosts will be joined by a raft of racing experts and analysts, including former ITV Racing presenter Brough Scott.
Alongside ITV ’s coverage, daily hour-long editions of The Opening Show with Oli Bell, will air at 10am from from Tuesday to Friday on ITV4, and at 9.25am on ITV on Saturday.

Is the Royal Ascot online?
All of ITV’s live Royal Ascot coverage will be simulcast online on the ITV Hub for web and app viewers.
Additionally the free ITV Racing app on iOS will have the latest news and videos from the racecourse.
You can also check out the ITV Racing site for updates, follow the ITV Racing Twitter account and the ITV Racing Facebook page will feature a live preview of the five festival days with Oli Bell.
Is the Royal Ascot on radio?
Those who will not have access to terrestrial TV, can look forward to live coverage of the first four races everyday on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra, starting at 1.05pm.
