Rock On Ruby takes glory at Cheltenham Festival
ROCK On Ruby beat Cheltenham favourite Hurricane Fly today to take the glory spot in the race of the day, the Champion hurdle.
Trained by Paul Nicholls and ridden by Noel Fehily, Rock on Ruby ran out a most impressive winner on the first day of the Festival.
With Overturn adopting his customary front-running tactics, Fehily sat closest to him on the 11-1 shot Rock On Ruby.
The two opened up a gap on the rest of the field heading down the hill and all of a sudden, those in behind were struggling to bridge the gap.
