Horse Racing tips August 12: Best bets at Wolverhampton, Kempton and Beverley
Kodiac Pride can make amends for his recent disqualification by scoring at Wolverhampton tonight.
After passing the post first at Salisbury three days ago KODIAC PRIDE (6.10, nap) was disqualified after the weight cloth came off during the race when he comfortably beat Juanito Chico. The gelding had earlier impressed when proving too strong for Javelin at Lingfield. Admittedly, he is going up in the weights, but this improving individual remains on a winnable mark.
After his promising debut last season when finishing runner up behind the three-times winner Corvair at Lingfield last season, MUTALAHEF (7.10, nb) can now open his account.
The third home, Top Secret, has since run well in defeat.
Charlie Appleby, currently enjoying a 31% strike rate with his runners, has found an ideal opportunity for VOTTORIA LIGHT (7.40, treble).
The gelding put in an encouraging recent run when chasing home the smart Darian at Newmarket last month.
