WATCH: Jamie Donaldson's incredible hole-in-one on the opening day of the Masters
JAMIE DONALDSON sunk just the 24th hole-in-one in Masters history at Augusta yesterday.
The Augusta National rookie delivered the perfect tee shot on the par three sixth hole in his round of 74.
And the Welshman owes his caddie Mick Donaghy for supplying him with vital advice before he made the shot.
Donaldson said: “It’s funny as it’s a tough shot with the pin high up on the right side, so you don’t know whether to take it on or sort of play just short left, so you got a putt up the hill.
“But my caddie, Mick Donaghy said, ‘listen, you just go straight at it when it’s up there’. So, that’s what I did. And it was great to see the ball pitch right on line, just short, and go in. It was really pretty special."
