Tiger woods will be fit for the Masters
TIGER WOODS has insisted he will be fit to compete at The Masters after revealing the Achilles tendon injury which forced him to withdraw from the Cadillac Championship on Sunday is only a “mild strain”.
Woods, who limped away after 12 holes at Doral, may even be fit to play at Bay Hill next week in the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
He tweeted: “Got good news from doc tonight. Only mild strain of left Achilles. Can resume hitting balls late in week and hopeful for next week.”
