PGA Championship: Charley Hoffman holes incredible putt
There has already been plenty of drama in the opening two rounds of the PGA Championship 2019 in New York.
Tiger Woods, the 2002 US Open champion at this course, is on his way home after failing to make the cut.
It’s a new era of the PGA Championship with the event having moved from its August date for the first time since 1948.
The expectation that it would be the first major to feature all of the top 100 players in the world were dashed when No 5 Justin Thomas withdrew, citing a lingering right wrist injury.
Defending champion Brooks Koepka has been in formidable form, extending his lead with the lowest 36-hole score in major championship history.
PGA of America chief executive, Seth Waugh, said: "We were very excited about the May change. We think we made a great decision but we'd rather be lucky than good as well.
"We thought it was smart - it looks brilliant now."
The winner of the PGA Championship will pocket a cool £1.5million.
