Justin Rose THROWS club after Ryder Cup tee shot - what happens next is BRILLIANT
JUSTIN ROSE threw his club in frustration at his tee shot on the sixth at the Ryder Cup.
But Rose, the Fed Ex Cup winner, got his reaction all wrong.
For the shot on the par four sixth wasn't a howler at all. Instead, it kicked off a downslope and rolled on to the green for a long-range eagle putt.
Sky Sports commentator Dame Laura Davies feared the worst after Rose's tetchy outburst.
"He's missed a couple of fairways so far, Justin," Davies said as the ball flew through the air.
It's a strange reaction for a ball on the green
But the kind bounce put hit right back on course to which Davies said: "I don't know why he doesn't like it - i like it!
"It's a strange reaction for a ball on the green."
Rose's response didn't go unnoticed by fans who took to Twitter to discuss his club throwing.
"I’d be sh***y with a 40 foot eagle putt too @JustinRose99 #RyderCup #par4in1 #thelookofgolf," one wrote.

Another said: "Wish I could hit a s**t shot like Justin Rose ..."
"I'd have been happy if I was on the green in three let alone 1!!!" joked a fellow golfer.
Rose - playing in the first fourballs match with Jon Rahm - got Europe off to the perfect start with a birdie 3 on the par four first to go one up.
However, Tony Finau chipped in on the sixth for an eagle 2 to level the match up.
